The ANCOP organization provided cash assistance to three PIT students who are currently enrolled in the school. The distribution took place at the Office of the President with Dr. Norberto C. Olavides, the College President.

ANCOP, which stands for ANswering the Cry of the Poor, is a non-profit organization founded by the Catholic family renewal group Couples for Christ (CFC), created for the purpose of consolidating the efforts of CFCs’ and other partners’ efforts in Building the Church of the Poor through various programs. Specifically, they were formed to answer the cry of the poor and bring about positive change in the lives of children, families, and communities, while fostering spiritual growth and development.

Daiselyn Andojar, a 3rd year BSInT student, along with Lawrence Paul Verdida, 1st year BSInT and Renato Marilao Jr., also a 1st year BSIE student, were the beneficiaries who received a cash grant of 12,045.00 from the organization. Accompanying them were Mr. Christen Suazo, CFC Cluster Head; Mr. Marcelino Dysam, CFC Chapter Head; Mrs. Judelyn Marquez and Mrs. Haide O. Marquez, both members of PIT-ANCOP project implementation team. Additionally, Mrs. Diana Rose P. Esmero, OSDS Director as well as Mrs. Cherrie Red L. Abilar, Scholarship Coordinator, the COTE Dean and Program Chair, were also in attendance.

We express our sincere appreciation to ANCOP and CFC for their thoughtful support towards our students. This aid will greatly benefit them and make a significant difference in their lives.
