The Regional Development Council (RDC) VIII—Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) will hold its Second Quarter Meeting on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT)—Balay Alumni.

The Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) oversees gender-related activities in the region and recommends gender-related policies. This meeting aims to address gender issues and promote gender equality through policies, programs, and projects.

This event is also a significant gathering for key stakeholders in Region VIII to reaffirm their commitment to gender equality and inclusive development.

The meeting is expected to include representatives from local government units (LGUs), regional line agencies (RLAs), state universities and colleges, and private sector representatives/civil society organizations.
