New scholars of the Coconut Scholarship (CoScho)
New scholars of the Coconut Scholarship (CoScho), along with Scholarship Coordinator Mrs. Cherrie Red Abilar, attended an orientation on November 11, 2024 at the CHED Regional Office VIII in Tacloban City. The purpose of the orientation was to familiarize the scholars with the guidelines and resources available through the scholarship program, which is dedicated to supporting coconut farmers and their families.
At the orientation, scholars were introduced to the program's guidelines and support structures, helping them make the most of this educational opportunity. Additionally, the five new CoScho members signed their contracts, bringing the total number of CoScho scholars at PIT to 16, including the 11 continuing scholars.
Congratulations to our new scholars! We extend our sincere gratitude to CHED for providing this opportunity to our students. Together, we are nurturing a brighter future for coconut farmers and their families.
