Today, April 26, 2024, the COA VIII Audit team, headed by Ms. Lerio Perpetua Q. Monge, Audit Team Leader, along with Ms. Helen O. Fabra, Supervising Auditor and Ms. Joy T. Boco, State Auditor III, conducted an Exit Conference for the Calendar Year 2023 at PIT-CHIC. Attending the Audit Exit Conference were PIT President, Dr. Norberto C. Olavides, alongside Dr. Rolando C. Entoma, VP for Administration and Finance; Mrs. Sarah Frances C. Bate, Chief Administrative Officer for Financial Services; Mrs. Mae R. Marquez, Budget Officer; Mrs. Arlene Sala, Administrative Officer V for Supply Office; Mrs. Diana Veronica Montejo, Administrative Officer V for HRMO and Miss Maria Elisa A. Caberos, Board Secretary I. Also in attendance were Dr. Eutiquio A. Pernis, Director of PIT-Tabango Campus; Mrs. Maria Gleta B. Abendan, Head for Administrative Services and Mr. Chandie B. Anojan, Accountant of Tabango Campus.

The Audit Exit Conference proved to be productive and after a thorough examination, PIT has been declared with “Clean Opinion”, indicating that all financial statements accurately represent the institution's financial status and operational performance. It affirms that PIT has maintained transparency and integrity in its financial reporting, instilling confidence in the accuracy and reliability of the disclosed information. In essence, receiving a clean opinion underscores the institution's commitment to sound financial management practices and adherence to accounting standards, thereby enhancing trust and credibility among its stakeholders.
