The PIT GAD in partnership with the PIT HRMO organized a two-day Seminar Workshop on Basic Gender Concepts, Gender Analysis, and the Formulation of Gender Plan and Budget last March 21-22, 2024 at the PIT Learning Resource Center. Faculty and employees were selected to participate in the workshop to increase awareness of basic gender concepts and issues at PIT, to apply Harmonized Gender Development Guidelines (HGDG) in the project development cycle and to understand the steps and procedures for formulating PIT’s GAD Plan and Budget. This was organized to make PIT’s Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) responsive to Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI). It was facilitated by the Former Director of Gender Research and Resource Center (GRRC), Associate Professor V, College of Liberal Arts, Western Mindanao State University, and a PCW – Accredited Member of the Gender and Development Resource Pool, Ms. Rosalyn Romo Echem.
