The Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (EVCIEERD) and the Department of Science and Technology, represented by Director Ramil Uy, who serves as the consortium coordinator held its first quarter Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting 2024 at the Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) on January 31, 2024. 

The presence of delegates from different State University and Colleges (SUCs) underscored the importance of this gathering and strengthened the cooperative spirit intended to promote progress in industry, energy, and emerging technologies in the Eastern Visayas.

As the host institution, PIT played an important role in providing a conducive environment for fruitful discussions and networking opportunities and in the ongoing pursuit of advancing research and development initiatives, ultimately contributing to the socio-economic growth of the Eastern Visayas region.
