The Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) extends its heartfelt congratulations to our Bachelor of Information Technology students for achieving 3rd place and receiving a special recognition at the 2nd Eastern Visayas Coding Olympics (EVCO), held at Western Leyte College on October 18, 2024.

PIT was represented by two teams: Team JAVAlutions, who secured 3rd place, composed of Dheco Demeterio, Marjoe Bacbac, Ramel Gulane, Christian Badilla, and Anthonio Louise Noynay; and Team devCrew, who earned a special recognition, consisting of Jefferson Doria, Mario Regala, Ariel Dela Rose Jr., Michael John Larido, and Kyle Gomez. We also acknowledge the invaluable support and guidance of their coaches, Mr. Jonathan Cabardo and Mr. Rogelio Urboda Jr.
