On January 13, 2024, the Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT), led by our dynamic College President, Dr. Dennis A. Del Pilar, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Maximo "Max" C. Aljibe, Regional Director of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 8, and Dir. Meylene C. Rosales, Regional Director of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

Accompanied by Dr. Claudine L. Igot, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Nathaniel Bryan S. Fiel, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Mr. Herville Pajaron, Board Secretary V; and Mrs. Sarah Frances Bate, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Financial Services, the visit highlighted the institution's unwavering commitment to fostering strong collaborations with key regional and national agencies.

The visit also underscored PIT’s initiatives aligned with regional development goals, enhancing academic programs, and exploring opportunities to further elevate the impact of higher education on community and economic growth. It exemplified PIT's dedication to advancing quality education, promoting good governance, and contributing to the development of Eastern Visayas and beyond.
