On June 30, 2025, the Palompon Institute of Technology proudly took part in the Dinner Reception hosted by Her Excellency Marielle Geraedts, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Philippines, in honor of the 23rd Philippines–Netherlands Joint Committee Meeting on Maritime Affairs (JCMA).

Representing PIT at this important diplomatic and maritime event were Dr. Dennis A. Del Pilar, President; Dr. Claudine L. Igot, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Engr. Michael John O. Diansay, Dean of the College of Maritime Education.

The evening underscored the strong partnership between the Philippines and the Netherlands in advancing maritime education, training, and sustainability. As a state maritime institution dedicated to global standards and industry relevance, PIT embraces platforms that foster international dialogue and collaboration.

We thank Her Excellency for the gracious invitation and warm hospitality, and we look forward to deepening partnerships that drive maritime innovation and excellence.
