In pursuit of academic excellence and industry-aligned instruction, faculty members from Palompon Institute of Technology, Ms. Katrina Bianca B. Piencenaves and Mr. Elbert M. De la Cerna, successfully completed their Faculty Immersion Program held at Big Hotel, Mandaue City, Cebu, from July 8 to 20, 2025.

The immersion allowed the participants to observe and experience firsthand the operational standards and service protocols of a reputable hospitality establishment. This initiative is part of PIT’s ongoing efforts to equip its faculty with relevant industry insights that can be seamlessly integrated into classroom teaching, curriculum enhancement, and student mentoring.

Through this experience, Ms. Piencenaves and Mr. De la Cerna gained valuable perspectives that will further strengthen the link between theory and practice - contributing to the development of well-rounded, industry-ready graduates.
